Biennale Interieur and creative agency DIFT present Interieur Products
During INTERIEUR 2016, DIFT will add to the pleasure of collecting design objects. Commissioned by the Biennale, the creative agency presents Interieur Products: a retail experiment involving selected brands and designers.
“The whole project is an experiment,” says DIFT’s Bert Pieters. “We want to explore the boundaries between offline and online retail and see how they interrelate. By using an e-commerce system but giving people the opportunity to immediately take their products home with them, we bring both worlds together.” The experiment is also part and parcel of the Design Retail Summit which is organised by Biennale Interieur on Monday 17 October this year.
“When you see an interesting item at the Biennale, you can use a mobile site to add it to your wish list, upon which it will be ready for you to collect and pay for when you exit. You can enjoy a relaxing day at the event, plus take your favourite product home with you while benefiting from a special Interieur discount,” Pieters confirms.
Extremis, Normann Copenhagen, Per/Use, Klein Agency and designer Dimitri Bähler, Grand Prize winner of the Interieur Awards, are among the companies and designers taking part in Interieur Products.
